I was talking to my sister Janet in Florida before I left for work today; I told her Colbie Caillat was coming in, and she made me promise to get a picture with Colbie and put it on my blog. (You can check out Colbie’s Music Lounge session here.)

After the performance, Shawn Stewart and I posed with Colbie, and somebody snapped the shot with Shawn’s camera — the camera whose USB cord was back at Shawn’s house. Unfortunately, nobody here had a cable that worked with that particular camera, leaving the image trapped on the camera for the moment. So I MacGyvered a solution — I used my phone to take a picture of the screen of Shawn’s camera, just to prove that it all really happened. Maybe when Shawn’s not so busy comapring shoes with Colbie Caillat, she’ll find the cord, send me the actual photo, I can post it here, and make my little sister happy.
