Steely Dan played the entire Royal Scam album Tuesday night at the Paramount, then a nice potpourri of songs from their vast repertoire. I guess I was right that the sound seemed a little muddy on the first night, because it sounded a lot better the second night.

The band even seemed a little sharper. Maybe since Monday was the first night of this leg of the tour, they were just getting it together. Aw, what do I care? They can do no wrong in my eyes. Face it, I’m a lousy Steely Dan concert reviewer!
