Snow Patrol MML 020

Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol did a session in the Carter Subaru Mountain Music Lounge, which you can listen to here. He mentioned that before coming to Seattle, the band had been in Portland, and he took a long walk around the city, stopping into Powell’s Books, A PDX landmark. He said he picked up a couple copies of his favorite book, which he likes to hand out to friends. Just in case you’re interested, the book is by Bryan Charles, and it’s called Grab Onto Me Tightly As If I Knew The Way.

It’s “a wise, bighearted, and hilarious look at one teenager’s life by a remarkable new voice in contemporary fiction.” Read more about it here.

  2. I just bought the book today… I was so inspired. Great session at the mountain music lounge. I was astounded by the talent. You deserve every accolade. The show at the Paramount was amazing as well. Thank you. It was beautiful.
