Welcome to a new feature on the show!  Kiera will read three headlines and you get to call in and pick ONE of the stories that you want to hear. However, we think it’s kind of a cruel joke to keep you hanging on the other two news stories…so we will post all three on our site.  Here are the stories from today.

Panty hose would have been much easier…

Two Carroll, Iowa men were busted for robbery after cops pulled them over and noticed they fit the description of wanted men. You see, the two men didn’t really have disguises on hand, so instead they chose to cover their faces with permanent black sharpie marker.  23-year-old Matthew McNelly and 20-year-old Joey Miller had no weapons, and no brains, when they tried to break into a local apartment.  Both men posted bond and were released.

Over 1,000 gorillas on the loose in Denver
1,061 runners dressed in gorilla suits ran through the streets of Denver over the weekend.  The runners broke a Guinness Record for the most gorilla-garbed people in one location  while raising money for a gorilla-conservation fund..  This is the 6th year of the event.  The run’s entry fee of $99.95 gives the runners a gorilla suit which they get to keep.

Your Wallet…The Final Frontier

A Spanish company says that it is on track to start welcoming people to their space “hotel” in 2012.  The trip will cost you $4.4 million.  For that price you will spend three days in space.  During those days you will watch the sun rise 15 times a day.  The price also includes 8 weeks of training on a tropical island.  Travelers, while in space, will wear velcro suits that will allow them to stick to the walls of their pod room while they crawl around like Spiderman.  So far over 40 people have made reservations for the trip to space.
