New topic! The MD has had numerous inquiries about new artist Duffy. Earlier this week, on the air with The Marty Riemer Show for my new  weekly segement, “Ask The MD,” we dissected the disc for curious Mountain listeners who had heard the single “Mercy” and wanted to know what the rest of the disc was like.

Basically, the disc does have a very consistent ‘60’s throwback vibe. It also has a very consistent Amy Winehouse vibe, only minus Amy’s brutally hilarious lyrics and kicking backup band, The Dap Kings. The Duffy disc is good, but heartbreaking!
