Ok, here’s the 411:

U2 remastered Joshua Tree last year. Pretty sweet.

So now, the Edge has overseen the re-mastering of Boy (1980), October (1981), and War (1983).

U2.com reports it to be in stores in mid-July.

Bono’s name isn’t mentioned in the official details.
Sounds like Edge has been re-mastering the music while Bono saves the world.

All audio is taken from the original tapes, and the albums will come in three formats – the remastered single CD, a deluxe format (which includes a bonus CD of b-sides, live tracks and rarities) and the vinyl format. Who said vinyl was dead?

New liner notes and photos as well.
A must-have for the die-hard U2 fan, in my opinion.

Information on the discs, including the rarities and b-side extras, are listed on U2.com

Check it all out here.
