Today, I’m bringing you some big news from my rock star counterpart, Anya Marina. 

Anya’s going to be featured on the New Moon soundtrack, set to come out in mid-October. And she’s not on there with just anyone! This is a solid lineup. Check out the complete track list:

When I heard the news, I couldn’t help but track down Anya to get the jist on all things New Moon. And let me tell you, we made sure to address the issues that really mattered:

SS: Congrats on your song on the New Moon Soundtrack. Buy a house in Portland. Buy 2!!

AM: ha. i can’t even qualify for a mortgage loan!
when i come out of this post-tour coma i’d love to write something for your blog. couple sentences or whhhaaaah?

SS: Yeah, just a little “behind the scenes, how it happened and Team Edward or Team Jacob”. It’s sad that I actually know what that means.

AM: Team Edward! COME ON!

SS: It’s probably good that we DON’T agree on men. Team Jacob!!! He’s a werewolf!!!!

AM: such an excellent point.

this is perhaps my entire problem with men. i gravitate toward the pale, tall, skinny, sexually ambiguous ones who drain me of my vitality/”life-blood” and then skip town, when what would really be best for me is a muscular, young, less-cerebral and more heterosexual beast that will actually have sex with me now & then.

this is my AHA moment. let it be known.
